These terms are an agreement between you and Spread The Flow LLC ("Spread The Flow", "we", "us"). They apply when you use spreadtheflow.com, buy from The Forge, or come to a Spread The Flow jam or event. By doing any of those, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

Using the site

Please use the site for its intended purpose: finding jams and events, booking performances, and shopping. Don't try to break, overload, or get unauthorized access to it, and don't use it to break the law.

The photos, videos, logos, and writing on this site belong to Spread The Flow or the people who made them. Please ask before reusing them.

Your Forge account

You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. Keep access to that inbox secure, because anyone who can read it can sign in as you. Let us know right away if you think someone else has used your account.

Buying from The Forge

Handmade props. Every prop is made by hand, so grain, color, finish, and small details will vary from the photos and from one piece to the next. That's part of what makes each one yours, and it isn't a defect.

Prices and payment. Prices are in US dollars. Your final price, shipping, and Florida sales tax are confirmed at checkout before you pay. Payments are processed by Square. If a price or listing is wrong because of an error on our end, we may cancel the order and give you a full refund.

Availability. We make props in small batches. If something sells out after you order, we'll let you know and either offer a new date or refund you in full.

Shipping. We currently ship within the United States only. We'll email you tracking once your order ships. If your package is lost or arrives damaged, email us and we'll work with you and the carrier to make it right.

Returns and refunds

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, email contact@spreadtheflow.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number and a photo, and we'll repair it, replace it, or refund you.

If you've changed your mind, you can return an unused prop in its original condition within 14 days of delivery for a refund of the item price. Shipping costs aren't refunded, and you pay for return shipping. For safety reasons, we can't accept returns of fire props that have been soaked in fuel or lit.

Refunds go back to your original payment method once we've received and checked the return.

Fire and flow safety

Flow arts, and fire spinning especially, carry a real risk of burns, injury, and damage to property. If you buy or use our props, or spin at our events, you accept that risk and agree to:

• Learn and practice safely, and only light up once you're ready.
• Use proper fuel, a safety (spotter) person, a fire blanket or extinguisher, and clothing made from natural fibers when spinning fire.
• Follow local laws, fire codes, and the rules of any venue you spin at.
• Check your props before every use, and stop using any that are worn or damaged.

Jams and events

Everyone at our jams and events agrees to our Code of Conduct. We, and the venues that host us, may ask anyone to stop spinning or to leave. Event details can change. Check our flow jams page and social media for the latest.

Paid performance bookings are covered by the separate agreement we make with you when you book.

Limitation of liability

Except for what we promise under "Returns and refunds" above, our site, props, and events are provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, Spread The Flow is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for injury or damage resulting from how props are used. Our total liability for any claim about a product is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that can't be waived.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when we post them here, and we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. The terms in place when you placed an order apply to that order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
