A pair of CNC precision cut, hand finished wooden day fans with a cut flame design. Made from marine grade plywood, sealed against moisture, and tested at our own weekly Florida flow jams.

Every pair includes a black drawstring carry bag with the STF FORGE logo. Nobody else in this category includes one.

Why marine grade wood

Most wooden fans are craft plywood: unnamed grade, raw or painted, and known for chipping. EMBER fans are cut from 6mm BS1088 marine grade okoume, the plywood engineered for boat hulls. Void free means no hidden gaps inside the wood to chip out. Sealed faces and edges mean moisture stays out. This is the difference the right plywood makes.

Okoume is also one of the lightest structural plywoods made. These fans are much lighter in hand than HDPE plastic fans of comparable size.

How they are made

Cut: precision CNC cut from our own design. Every 90mm Russian grip and every flame line is identical, pair after pair.

Finish: hand sanded, sealed with sanding sealer, then three coats of satin polyurethane on every face and edge.

Tested: the design was proven in real hands at our flow jams before a single pair shipped.
